Old flame

He stared at the It
Felt his nostrils flare
Ah..the memory..
He knew it wouldn't be the same feeling this time
Even better..
The inviting, hypnotizing, knock-out looks
The feel, the warmth, the fragrance
Ah.. it was too much for him to just growl
He had to do it
He gave in..
To a packets of old once-crispy Doritos

Coming Home

The child stared at the planet
Mesmerized, the eyes asked the question
Decade old dreams danced around him
This was it, this was the moment
The child heard The Calling
Liberation, Atonement, Salvation
He didn't belong there
He always ran
Ran away from it
But, for once, he will walk
Walk his way to the nucleus of his existence
For, he was coming Home

The Beginning

Let the red poison run through the veins
For there is nothing more beautiful than the rains
Unseen and unknown celebrations
The world congratulates
Not the one you see with the naked eye
The one like the wetland
Soaked firecrackers burst with joy
The white noise promises the salvation

Phoenix

The sun mocks
The wind teases
The leaf quivers
The heart sighs
The wings flutter
It is the rise of the phoenix
For it is not done
Yet.

The End

She pulled the fragile thread
Her thread of dreams, life
Eyes blazing with anguish and defeat
She watched as it came to a point of no return
Thus, she ended the life
The only life she had come to love

This couldn't be

'This shouldn't happen'
She thought
'This is not how it is supposed to be'
The horoscope told a different story
She took a moment to let it sink in
Maybe she had known all along
Maybe she let the stars fabricate the dream
So real and beautiful
She saw only what she wanted to see
Her brain asked her to be patient
But she followed her heart
Isn't that what you are supposed to do?
Where to draw the line?
Maybe this isn't real either.
Dream in a dream in a dream?

The Tragedy

Tragedy is not the loss of something
Tragedy is being aware that you have a long journey
And every fiber of your being is in eternal pain
Because you can only imagine what life could have been
You are cemented to the same moment yet moving forward
Tragedy is that your mind never lets you forget
The misery of your existence
That you will die thinking 'What If'...
